Please review our service policies before booking. Understanding these terms helps us serve you better and ensures a smooth delivery experience.

TIME RESTRICTIONS

Island Connections Courier operates within defined service windows. We are committed to on-time delivery — however, certain delays are outside our control.

Island Connections Courier is not responsible for turnaround delays caused by customer or business operating windows, or third-party operators.

Weather Conditions

Severe weather may delay or suspend service without notice.

Boating Schedule Changes

Ferry and boat schedule changes are outside our control.

Flight Delays

Air cargo delays caused by airline operations are not our liability.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

To ensure a smooth and timely pickup, customers are required to meet the following obligations before our courier arrives.

  • Customer must guarantee their order is ready for pick-up at the scheduled time.
  • Items must be properly packaged and labelled before the courier arrives.
  • Customer must be available (or have a representative present) at the pickup location.
  • Any special handling instructions must be communicated at the time of booking.
  • Accurate delivery address and recipient contact information must be provided.
  • Customer is responsible for ensuring items comply with applicable shipping regulations.

Failure to have your order ready at the scheduled pickup time may result in a missed pickup fee or rescheduling charge.

THIRD-PARTY OPERATORS

Some deliveries involve third-party operators including airlines, ferry services, and port authorities. Island Connections Courier acts as the coordinating agent in these cases and cannot be held liable for delays or disruptions caused by these external parties.

  • Third-party delays will be communicated to the customer as soon as we are informed.
  • We will make every effort to reroute or reschedule affected shipments.
  • No refunds are issued for delays caused by third-party operators.
  • Customers will receive status updates via text and email throughout the process.

GENERAL SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

  • All bookings must be confirmed in advance — walk-in or last-minute requests are subject to availability.
  • Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Island Connections Courier reserves the right to refuse service for prohibited or hazardous items.
  • Customers must disclose the nature of goods being shipped at the time of booking.
  • Perishable items must be clearly identified and properly packaged for temperature-sensitive transport.
  • Island Connections Courier is not liable for pre-existing damage to items not documented at pickup.
